Working with the owners and crew of the fishing vessel Oilean An Oir to complete a vessel safety review/ audit in line with national and international guidelines. Using the app based audit template we identify the common hazards and rate the associate risks in order to implement the required control measures.
In early November while the Oilean An Oir was in Howth, Irish Marine Safety carried out verification of the procedures as recorded in the Risk Assessments Method Statements to ensure that they match the processes as carried out on-board. The crew were fully engaged in undertaking the drills as set out in the schedule for that month and signed off on the new vessel safety induction form.
